R - Benaiah Botkin (b 1834 OH - d 1913 Springfield, OH),  L - William Lafayette Botkin (b 1858 OH - d 1911 Springfield, OH),  Paul Edward Botkin (b. 1883 Springfield - d Unk?), and baby Perry Lafayette Botkin (b 1907 Springfield - d 1973 Los Angeles, CA).  <BR>This baby grew up to be musician/ composer Perry Botkin Sr. who did the music for the first 2 years of the Beverly Hillbillies TV show, had his own bands and radio shows, and accompanied Bing Crosby and other greats.  Benaiah is my GG grandfather through his son Romance Erwin Botkin.  <P> If you are interested in this family, please contact Jan Botkin Therkildsen at her email address THERKILD@AOL.COM
