Nancy, daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth (nee Thompson) Mickey was born in Pennsylvania in the year 1779
and died in Catawba, Pleasant Twp., Clark Co. Ohio on April 12, 1855.
She married Archibald McDonnell (or McDonald) McConkey in Mason Co. KY on December 21, 1797. From this union,
8 children were born. Nancy's father, Daniel, who assisted in establishing American Independence, while acting in the capacity
first as an ensign in the 8th PA Regiment in 1776 and then was promoted to 1st Lieutenant, 8th PA Regiment in 1777.
