Springfield Abattoir Company, early 1900's
A meat packing company in Springfield, OH. LeRoy G. Evans (centered, in a suit) was the manager for 12 years and became one
of the five owners in the coporation. His younger brother, Henry M. Evans, is first on the left. The company was still operating
in 1937, according to a news article about LeRoy Evans Golden Wedding Anniversary on May 14, 1937. He had retired and moved
to Bellaire, Michigan by then.
