Nathan and Millie Neer, about 1916,
Nathan was born at the old McConkey homestead near Catawba in 1851, At age 19 he went
to Mechanicsburg, to learn the blacksmith trade, there he met Millie Comstock. They were married in 1875. After the death
of Nathan's mother they moved back to the farm near Catawba. Nathan died in 1919 and Millie in 1948. They are buried in the
Maple Grove Cemetery in Mechanicsburg, OH.
